New login, new platform, many questions: in 2026, the German Padel Federation is introducing its own DPV Portal. It is gradually taking over tasks that players previously associated mainly with RankedIn.
The move is not happening on one single date for every area. That is why both platforms can currently matter. This guide explains what is already confirmed, where RankedIn is still needed, and how to prepare for upcoming tournaments.

What is the new DPV Portal?
The DPV Portal is the German Padel Federation's new digital platform. It runs on beauOS and brings federation-related accounts and processes together under the official DPV domain.
The public sign-in page currently offers email or Google login as well as account creation. Anyone who received an invitation must use the email address to which that invitation was sent when registering.
The portal is therefore more than a new home page. It creates a separate technical foundation for player profiles, licences, and the federation's organised competitions.
Does the DPV Portal replace RankedIn immediately?
No. The transition is gradual.
The DPV framework tender document for GPS tournaments 2026/27, published in March, still names RankedIn as the official tournament platform for now. In the same section, however, the federation explicitly notes that the tournament platform may change during the 2026/27 season.
The current situation is therefore:
- The new DPV Portal is live.
- Federation accounts and licences are moving to the new platform.
- GPS tournaments may still run through RankedIn during the transition.
- Depending on the competition and date, either platform may be important.
Deleting your RankedIn account immediately would therefore be a bad idea. Existing profiles, tournament entries, results, and event documents may still be needed there.
What is already officially visible?
Current DPV documents make the transition clear.
A separate DPV account for league competitions
The German Padel League framework document from April 2026 requires an account on the "DPV platform" and a valid DPV licence. An older version explicitly referred to a RankedIn account and licence purchase through RankedIn at this point.
That changed wording is a clear signal: at least central federation and licence processes are moving to the federation's own platform.
Platform change planned for GPS tournaments
For the German Padel Series, the current competition rules remain decisive. The season regulations explicitly leave open a change of tournament platform. Until the relevant transition, RankedIn may continue to handle calendars, registration, draws, and results.
Live portal on the official DPV domain
The portal is available at portal.dpv-padel.de. Registration and login are therefore technically separate from your previous RankedIn profile.
What should players do now?
A smooth transition is easier if you keep both accounts in parallel for now.
1. Check your invitation and email address
If you received an invitation to the DPV Portal, register with exactly the email address used for that invitation. A different address may prevent your account from being assigned correctly.
2. Enter your personal data correctly
Use your full name and correct date of birth. These details matter for licences, age groups, tournament eligibility, and rankings.
3. Check your licence status
Do not rely on an old confirmation or screenshot. Before registering, check whether your licence is shown as valid on the platform currently responsible for the event.
4. Use the link for the specific tournament
The safest rule during the transition: open the platform linked in the current tournament announcement. Not every tournament has to move on the same day.
5. Keep your RankedIn account
As long as current or upcoming GPS tournaments are managed there, your RankedIn access remains important. Keep your login details secure and your personal information consistent.
What changes for the DPV licence?
The change is not only technical. The current DPV fees and penalties catalogue distinguishes between the previous model and fees after the new tournament management system is introduced.
After the transition, it lists two licence levels:
- Full adult licence: EUR 69 per year for GPS and German Padel League competitions
- Basic licence: EUR 15 per year for juniors, recreational players, first-time tournament players, and all state leagues
According to the catalogue, the basic licence covers the first two or three tournaments with a total of up to 150 GPS points. The current league framework document says it is not sufficient for nationwide league competition.
During the platform transition, older announcements may still describe the previous licence model. The current licence offered in the portal and the announcement for the relevant competition therefore matter most.
For players, the platform name matters less than the visible status:
- Is my account assigned correctly?
- Is my licence active?
- Do my name and date of birth match?
- Does tournament registration recognise my eligibility?
If a licence is visible on one platform but not recognised during registration, contact the tournament organiser or DPV early. Do not wait until the registration deadline.
What happens to tournaments, draws, and rankings?
The transition is not yet complete for every competition.
RankedIn has previously been the centre for:
- tournament calendars
- team registration
- waiting lists
- draws and schedules
- result recording
- ranking points
The federation still has to define when each of these functions will fully move to the DPV Portal for the relevant competitions and rollout stages. Public information clearly confirms that the platform may change during the season. The current GPS framework document does not establish one general shutdown date for RankedIn.

Benefits of a federation-owned platform
A dedicated portal can connect several previously separate processes:
- clear player identity
- central licence management
- direct assignment to DPV competitions
- less dependence on external platform processes
- clearer communication between the federation, venues, and players
The benefit depends on how completely the data, competition operations, and support work together. During the transition, there is initially more work because two accounts may need to be kept in parallel.
What is still open?
Several practical questions have not yet been answered conclusively for every use case:
- Will all previous RankedIn results be transferred?
- Will old tournament histories remain available permanently?
- When will every GPS category move?
- How will duplicate or inconsistent player profiles be merged?
- Will there be one shared date for rankings and the tournament calendar?
Until the DPV publishes a binding overall roadmap, players should not assume that all data will be transferred automatically.
